Playground Surface is processed to be utilized for playgrounds and walkways. This material naturally prevents weed growth and is free of any chemicals or dyes. The Playground Surface is 100% virgin wood fibers containing no recycled material. It is to be noted that this material has passed the state required drop tests and has been third-party tested. Playground surface is safe for kids to play on and has been certified by the state. Playground material is soft and free of sharp edging making it a perfect material to utilize around play areas.

Morton’s Compost is made from all organic materials such as yard debris and ground leaves. Our compost is shredded multiple times to ensure a fine consistency. We let the material sit for a minimum of 2 years prior to selling it to the public. Compost is great for gardens, yards, and all other plant-based needs; compost is guaranteed to help with those stubborn plants that need a boost!

Pea Gravel ranges from 1/4” to 1/2″ and has a blended variety of colors consisting of beige, tan, white, and gray with occasional blacks and reds. Pea Gravel is also called #8 Washed Gravel; this gravel has a round shape free of sharp edges. Pea Gravel is great to use for walkways, playground areas, patios, etc.

304 Limestone ranges from 1.5” down to dust and is gray in color. 304 is great for a base underneath asphalt, roads, drives, parking lots and a foundation for standing structures. 304 is great for filling in potholes and making a strong base for a driveway. Be aware that this product is all natural and may have varying consistencies. 304 Limestone can be utilized for retaining walls because of the compatibility of this material!

Mason Sand has a very fine consistency making it an excellent choice for; installing pools, pavers, sandboxes, volleyball court, ground stabilization, etc. Mason sand is tan in color with a fine texture that will be great for many projects. Mason sand can also be utilized to make mortar!

Morton’s Material yard has a large selection of palletized rock ready to go! Our stone comes in all different shapes, sizes, and colors to fit customer needs and wants. Our palletized stone is brought in from out-of-state as well as local distributors. Most of our pallets are sandstone, river rock or granite; sizes and quantities vary and are priced accordingly.

Morton’s Firewood is cut from all hardwood that has been seasoned and split for all heating needs.
It is to be noted that our sizing may vary, but we do keep our cuts between 12”-16” in length.
